Parsippany, NJ (MARCH 10, 2010) — Dialogic Corporation ("Dialogic"), a global provider of world–class products and technologies for multimedia and signal processing, and LumenVox, an innovator in speech recognition technologies, today announced the integration of the DiaStar™ Server, release 2.0 and the LumenVox Speech Engine. This integration brings all of the power and flexibility of the LumenVox ASR solution to Asterisk® developers building Voice and Video Applications with the DiaStar Server.

These new features and enhancements continue to expand Asterisk developers' ability to utilize the DiaStar Server to create applications such as IVVR systems, Video Surveillance Systems, Video Gateways, Mobile Advertising and Banking, Multimedia Social Networking and basic Video Call Completion.

Project DiaStar™ is an open source project sponsored by Dialogic Corporation, providing access to Dialogic's enhanced media and signaling functionality from existing open source platforms such as Asterisk via the Woomera protocol.
